The Avalon Fire Department operates out of a single station located at 420 Avalon Canyon Road. The facility is a single-story station with eight apparatus bays, living quarters, equipment and utility areas attached. This station has been in service since 2004.
One of the department's most cherished and iconic possessions is the section of steel from the World Trade Center that is prominently displayed in front of the station as a tribute to the 343 firefighters who made the ultimate sacrifice on September 11, 2001.
